Life Drawing Art Group
Hello. Just a beginning of an idea, but proposing a weekly life drawing group for people of all ages and abilities, to be set up and running by spring of 2020
I'm currently looking for 4 or 5 life models (male and female aged between 18 and 88) absolutely any size or shape, experience not necessary as guidance can be given. But MUST be reliable. will be paid at £30 a session. Also as a model, you will be welcome to come to any of the sessions you are not modelling in as an artist at a reduced rate (or model free and come to 3 art sessions for free)
I plan to have one model posing each week , rotating through four or five models for variety. and on some weeks possibly have two models posing together.
The sessions will start with quick warm-up poses, then medium length going on to one long pose to finish the session.
And between 8 and 15 artists of any ability. this will be an untutored and friendly art group, you can be a complete beginner who struggles to draw stick men, or a professional artist. But you MUST be supportive of your fellow artists creativity. Also with this group you will have the opportunity (if you wish) to suggest model poses / props etc . so an ideal forum to experiment with an idea you've had or to create a portfolio of unique artwork.
We now have an excellent venue at the Regis Centre, Belmont Street, Bognor Regis. We have a studio with excellent parking, a kitchenette, own loo and changing space for the models.
As soon as I have an idea of the number of interested artists I will be able to let all know the fee's for each session.
